Hard Candy in Love

I've always wanted to try this brand Hard Candy that is sold at Walmart but unfortunately the Walmart in my town never seems to restock things so there's never really anything available. But last week we were in Ware, Massachusetts and there was a Walmart there and what do you know. It was fully stocked! I was so happy. I didn't want to spend a boat load of money on a brand I've never really used before but I used it today, when I went to the beach (Yes I'm that girl that wears makeup to the beach) and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.
1) The FOUNDATION- To me it gave me a air brushed finish. It was really light, didn't feel heavy at all even in the 90 degree weather. I love the bottle, especially the fact that you can pump the product out.
2) The LIP STAIN. I thought it was going to be like one of those lip balms that are fruitfully colored but just give you a clear shine but it really does leave this pretty pink color on your lips. I didn't use much so it didn't exactly stain but I'm sure if more was used it would do it's job. Regardless, I love them, they're cute because it looks like a jumbo crayola crayon and they're fun.
3) The EYESHADOW- Not much to say about this, since I picked such a neutral plain color but it works! (HAHA) I think what I like best about the single shadows, is that they're only $3.00. I also have their pallettes which I love and they come in different styles and shades so maybe you all will like those better.

Old Navy Haul for $6.88

Not everyone is a credit card person, but me, I LOVE THEM! Well, the ones that come with the best rewards. I had racked up so many points using my Old Navy Visa card, I had a $20 reward and a $45 dollar reward. I was able to use them together, which was awesome. And I got so much stuff because I found a lot of stuff on clearance. Call me cheap or whatever you want but I love raiding the clearacne section of every store. I think I bought only one full price thing at Old Navy and that was my american flag tank. It was only $13 bucks though. I got two pairs of shorts which were $13.50, 2 thin long sleeve shirts for those cool nights by the beach for $3.99 and I got the striped shirt I'm wearing along with a lime green one for $5.99 and two t-shirts that have neon colored polka dots for $6.00. Everything came out to a little over $70.00 and my total was $6.88. Unbeliavable! >.< Like I said some people hate credit cards but if you are going to get one, I suggest getting one at Old Navy. Where your "customer duties" pay off. This was such a successful shopping trip, I wish it could always be this way. :) A girl can dream.

Love Always.

SHOE of the DAY!

TGIF my loves! I've been working since 11 PM last night and now I have to go into work till 3 PM! I'm really not in the mood to go into my 2nd job with complicated shoes so I'm just wearing these little things I believe I got at Marshall's a couple of years ago. They're by Tommy Hilfiger & they are super comfortable! This weekend I planned to be confined to my bed catching up on sleep and then hopefully spending the day at the beach this Sunday!

Happy Friday & enjoy your weekend!

Quote of the Day

Don't ever let anyone tell you that your dreams sound foolish. Because they're not. I believe that if you want something bad enough and you work hard enough. Anything is possible. So dream big and reach for the freakin' stars! I was always afraid of my dreams and I have a lot of things I would like to accomplish. And which ever one happens, I am completely happy. If none of them happen, hey you know what? I'm so happy I tried. I can look back on my life and say I tried like hell. People are jerks. Some jerk I don't even know, this wake said some really rude stuff about the things I dream about. But I don't let stuff like that bother me, it just pushes me to work harder. So whatever it is that you want to do in life. Here are the simple steps.
1. Make sure it's something you're going to be so happy doing for the rest of your life.
2. Go for it!
That's it!

Farm Life

I've been to this farm in Hadley, Massachusetts 2 days this week & it's only Tuesday. (As of right now) We stopped there for ice cream on a nice Sunday ride, which I got to say it was so good. You can't beat ice cream coming from the farm, especially a dairy farm. Compared to a typical franchise ice cream shop, I would take a trip out to a farm or a small local creamery any day whenever I had a sweet tooth for a cool treat. It's not as expensive & taste way better. We brought my dog with us this time. My mom was holding him and I had went off to go look at the other cows. I turn around to see my dog in the grass and two cows getting real close. I never ran so fast. I went into serious mama bear mode. Haha! I love farms though. The view, the smell (don't judge me) and just peacefulness (is that a word?) you get from just being there. As much as I want to get out of New England, Massachusetts has some pieces of it, I like to call heaven on earth and Flayvors of Cook Farm is one of them. If you're in the Massachusetts area, you can check this place out at
129 S Maple Street

Here are some pictures from today.

So peaceful.

What a beauty!

Mother-Daughter bracelets.

So today was a good day. Got out of work at 3:30, went to my guitar practice & then made bracelets with my mom. It was a lot of fun, but we decided we both need glasses. Or at least we think we do because of all the squinting we did today making these bracelets. Like I always say, we all got to start somewhere and I think for first timers, we came up with good color schemes & themes for our bracelets. We are going to be learning different styles and ways to make different types of styles to make more funky and fashionable bracelets. If anyone is interested in buying these, we would be happy to sell them. :D Or if anyone is interested in this 3 style but would like a different color scheme, different charms. Please, we would be happy to work with you & make you a fab bracelet. Whether it be for prom, graduation, a gift whatever it may be. Let us know. <3

My Leopard/Cheetah Makeup.

So it's not perfect. But practice makes perfect right? Leopard/Cheetah, whatever I can't tell the difference, but this is me just playing around. Items used:
Urban Decay Naked 2
Elf Liquid Liner
Rimmel Jumbo Pencil
P.S. Don't mind my messy brows. I need to get those done... ASAP!

I did this in like less than 15 minutes. I'm sure if I took my time it would come out much better. So did anyone catch Aaron Carter on USTREAM? Funny guy and I'm glad to know there's someone who curses as much as I do. Hehe ;) Anyway, I'm going to get back to my cleaning guys. I promise to do a outfit of the day post tomorrow.
Much Love,
Melissa Christine R.
